Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Image decoding, resizing and ZIP export run in your browser. Your images stay on your device.
Can I resize multiple images?
Yes. Add up to 30 images and apply the same settings to the batch. Different source shapes keep their proportions in Contain and Cover modes. Download individual results or a ZIP.
How do Stretch, Contain and Cover differ?
Stretch uses the exact dimensions when aspect ratio is unlocked. Contain fits the whole image inside your dimensions; you can add a fixed canvas with transparent or coloured padding. Cover fills the dimensions with a centred crop.
Does resizing preserve transparency?
PNG and supported WebP exports preserve transparency. JPG has no transparency, so choose a background colour. Solid padding also fills transparent areas of the image.
Can I make an image larger?
Yes, use larger dimensions or a percentage above 100%. Upscaling cannot recover detail missing from the original. High-quality browser resampling and staged downscaling are used.
What limits apply?
Each image can be up to 20 MB, 8192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. A batch can contain 120 MB of source files and 96 MB of results. ZIP exports support up to 64 MB of processed images. Exported images are still frames; animation and EXIF metadata are not retained.
